“I thought the event was really well organised and everyone made a real effort to make it a great day, right from those manning the registration desks, to the kids along the way helping out with the water stops, and all of the marshalls along the course and at the finish line. The route was beautiful and not too hilly thankfully!”
“I found the race to be excellent from arriving at the car park and getting direction to the hall, to collecting my number and chip, very well organised. Fantastic to have the chip times up and available to look for so quickly. The chance to have a massage at the end was a great idea, hope they got some good donations. All in all a very good 10km event, can highly recommend and hope to be back next year.”

“Just a quick message to say how much my boyfriend and I enjoyed participating in the event on Saturday. We came up from Glasgow – really just to try a new running route and thought it was brilliant! The atmosphere was great and the organisation of the event was impeccable. All the kids and marshalls that helped out too were amazing. Afterwards we undid all our good work by eating our own body weight in home baking and soup. You did a smashing job!”
“I was really impressed with the event and the level of organisation that had obviously gone into making it such a success. The route was beautiful, and the undulating course was really enjoyable to run. The whole day felt really friendly and I felt well looked after as a participant. Registration was smooth, information readily available, and it was great to get a shower at the end! During the run, the marshals were brilliant: very supportive and on the ball with water etc. The signage was also great. I have run really huge races before that have failed to have markers at every kilometre. It is amazing the difference that something simple like that can have. It felt like you had all these little details right. Overall, well done for arranging one of the best races I have ever taken part in!”
