We all want to lose weight. Whether its 2 or 3 inches or dropping a dress size we all either want or need to lose a little and in some cases a lot of weight. Research by a number of well respected scientists has proven that diets DON’T WORK long term. Initially most people who cut back on the ‘bad’ foods for a few weeks and maybe go to the gym once a week may experience success but research has shown that 95% of people will regain their lost weight within 1 to 5 years and in some cases much quicker. The reason for this is simple. Diets are a temporary quick fix solution to losing weight because quite normally people begin to crave the things they’ve been told are bad and before they know it they are back to square one if not worse.
This is where our program is different. Tay Fitness’ 13 week Kickstart Weight Management program is designed to specifically meet the individual needs of every client and provide on going support throughout the 13 weeks and for several months afterwards. The program addresses 3 key areas, these being nutrition, exercise and lifestyle. Each of these will be considered in turn and specifically how positive habits can be formed around them in order to maintain the weight loss achieved over the 13 weeks for months and years to come.
Tay Fitness offers 2 ‘Kickstart’ packages. Each package includes the following: Health Consultation, Nutrition Consultation, Food Diary Analysis, Measurements at Wks 0,4,8,12, all personal training and programmed sessions depending on which package is purchased and on going support throughout the program via email and phone.
The Platinum package offers clients 3 one on one personal training sessions per week from weeks 2 to 13 as well as 2 programmed sessions per week for weeks 2 to 13. These programmed sessions will be planned by your personal trainer but will be carried out on your own on specific days.
The Diamond package offers clients 2 one on one personal training sessions per week from weeks 2 to 13 as well as 3 programmed sessions per week for weeks 2 to 13. These programmed sessions will be planned by your personal trainer but will be carried out on your own on specific days.

Therefore not all people may be considered appropriate to embark on the program, however this will be discussed by both client and trainer during the initial Health Consultation.
